I suppose your fluff will help dictate whether to include IG unit markings. I was just reading the IG codex earlier and it states that units seconded will gather markings of the primary force over time aas the units becmoe more integrated. So, if the valkyries/Vendettas have been with the reginemt ...

Valkyrie Markings

Hi Guys I'm a bit iffy on the correct way to complete my 2 Valkyries (well they're Vendettas actually) ala paint scheme/Markings. The Vendetta is a part of the Imperial Navy so when I have them attached to my IG Regiment I know that they're..... 1/marked with their Imperial Navy Tactical Wing number...

Putting my Valkyries together as we speak...very nice kit. Progress is slow as I've painted the interior (Cockpit, main compartment, Gunners), but I tend to be slowish as I build all the sub-assemblies first, then stick it all together in a flurry at the end. With the Command squad I'm going to try ...

Speaking personally, I'd just buy the actual sponson
'boxes' and build 2 sets....and magnetise that piece.

Re: LandRaider Redeemer/Crusader

ANyone built one of these yet, just want to know if there are enough bits to make both if you had a spare landraider kit around. I know the extra armour would have to be fabricated but anything else? Kit comes with both sponson weapons (Hurricane Bolters and Flamestorm Cannons), but only 1 set of t...

I emailed GW today about the SM Codex falling apart, and the same is happening to the Warriors of Chaos Codex as well (within an hour of bringing it home)....'we are aware of a batch problem with the SM Codex and the problem is with the heat pressure when sealing the binding'. I was told that I coul...

I can get the GW Board here in OZ for $342 which doesn't sound unreasonable to me. Sure, not as cheap as building your own, but not rediculous. I could see my group using it as a Fantasy board...just lay the grass mat over it and voila. It's way too small as a 40K board for us (we use a 9'x9' +-junc...

That picture says it all really...the FW Drop Pod is obviously a lot bigger than the GW one, as a Dread will definitely not physically fit inside the GW one regardless if the inner workings are there or not. And seen as the GW DP has 5 small doors compared to the FW's 4, the Dread physically wont pa...

Thanks for your thoughts Guys, my Son's noted them.
He's decided that it probably isn't worth the hassle as He's going to be entering and playing a lot of Tourneys and pick-ups.

chromedog...TFG? Sorry Mate, no idea what that stands. LMTRK...yea, some people, and he was serious. He's a regular from what I understand, but the whole 'drama' wasn't played out in a loud, whole store encompassing kind of way. I don't need to raise my voice to get my points across. The Store Manag...
