Re: First Tourney

Very nice! Well done on the wins, and no one likes the Han/biggs combo, nor phantoms!

As long as you have fun, that's all you can ask. And I've never met that guy playing x wing either.

And good luck with the nipper to be.

Re: First Tourney

I've got one on 6th Sept. Hopefully I'll provide pictures this time...

My list I think will be:
PS2 y wing with ion cannon turret x 2
PS4 Z95 x 4

Re: Heresy Miniatures - back with Vengeance!

Good luck to him, he's always been very sound in all my dealings with him.

Re: Heresy Miniatures - back with Vengeance!

I like his stuff, and own quite a few of his ogres and other stuff in my blood bowl team. But I think I'll sit this out given the dragon debacle...

Re: X Wing wave 4

I've been playing around quite a bit since I wrote the first post... Z95 are still awesome filler, but I'm finding myself building a lot more lists at PS7+ lately, so they're getting less flight time as I go on. The Ewing is superb. Corran, VI, engine upgrade, predator will duff up a load of stuff! ...

Re: Games Workshop CEO steps down.

They can fanny around with the admin costs as much as they like.

Won't make a shred of difference if their cost of sales is a massive fixed number.

Re: Epic Game - Star Wars Xwing

Sounds fun.

I've not played a game that big yet. At 200/300 points the CR-90 is a beast to take down - well done for getting shot down!

I'm not sure that AoS is ready for a proper game like X Wing yet!

X Wing wave 4

Assuming we've all got our grubby little mitts on these then? I've managed to play with them all & my thoughts are: E Wing - http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/x-wing/news/wave4/E-Wing_600px.gif it's a super X wing for a super points cost. You can soup them up, but why...

Re: First thoughts on the Tantive

I'm going through the Tantive campaign at the moment as my regular opponent ponied up for one. There's 2 of us on the imperial side due to the number of ships. Mission 1 is heavily biased to the Tantive, but the second mission (which is dependant on the outcome of the first) was much better for the ...

Re: Warhammer 40,000 7th edition impressions?

Thanks guys, and especially Nige for that little insight. My spending has gone from c£500pa about 5 years ago. It declined at the back end of 5th to less than £100pa as I didn't need to change my armies (I expect GW saw a bit of this too - hence the shorter cycles) but bought a few codexes. The last...
