Re: POLL: What 40k armies do you collect/play

4 if you count my Loyalist Guard and Traitor Militia Guard as 2 armies

All 4 are at Apoc levels - both Gaurd forces have Super heavy Support

Re: 28mm sci-fi gaming survey

What size of game do you expect to be playing? The 40K equivalent of 1500-1800 points. 10-15 units and a mix of unit types and capable supporting Big Apoc type games in the same way that KOW does with out leaving you a mental exhausted wreck (like Apoc does!) How long do you expect your chosen game ...

Re: AoS meetup - 17th / 18th March 2012 @ Maelstrom

He has contracted a disease that only allows him to leave the house to go to work, the rest of the time he has to sit glued to a pc screen shooting at graphics of tanks while talking to 15 year old russians on his headset about the pros and cons of camo nets on a late war german tank! Think its cal...

Re: Christmas... Humbug!

I dont send Christmas Cards as a rule so am not going to moan about not getting any (I do but my Flat is so untidy I have nowhere to put them!) The thing I am amazingly happy about this year is that I did most of my Christmas Shopping online and bar a couple of bottles of grog for people - I have ev...

Re: A question about date notation in 40K

IIRC the additional Digit is the source of the comms pertaining to the date - the system is used where Astropathic communication used to pass information. Due to the temporal and fluctuating time of the warp - the further a message travels the more uncertain the ultimate recipient is of its true tim...

Re: Units, coherency and movement + ic's.

I have always understood it to be very simply that if the IC is in coherancy with another unit then he/she/it is part of that squad (whether you want to or not).

If you dont want to be part of a given unit dont end your movement near it.

This game is complicated enough as it is.

Simples.

Re: The lord Inquisitor trailer

Totally respect someone who can produce CGI like that. However - several critiques The Guy firing the Heavy Bolter(s) - far too much recoil - he would never hit anything! The dialogue was a bit OTT - he needs to rollplay what some prospectors or miners would actually do and then follow that decision...

Re: Caution -pic

Agree with the above comments - better without the stealer

Also can you put the light source (or an additional light source) on the Terminator itself?
