Re: Trouble with Templars

In a 1500 game 1 Land Raider is the max IMO.

Take too many and you are going to be badly outnumbered both in terms of units and fire power.

I agree with Da Grot - the strength of a BT army is its core rules - I would go with lots of warm bodies - with perhaps 1 LRC Suprise!

Re: IA 9 charactors ..which ones?

Yeah I think the techi is the best choice and buffs a squad quite nicely

I liked both main commanders - the good guy more than the evil one.

The Tyrants champ is probably worth a look as well

Re: Eldar vs Imperial Guard - Video Battle Report.

"The only thing better than a dead Eldar is a dying one who tells you where his mates are...."

Good effort mate - simple but very effective - any gamer watching that could see quite easily what had gone on.

Re: Changing Of The Guard

Lords of Talus, (The) Talus Guard, The Angels of Talus

Is Talus a Place or an Ancient Space Marine Hero (Such As Orar?)

Sons of Talus, Praetorians of Talus, Scions of Talus

Etc.

Also is the Titan going to be a seperate colour scheme?

WORK HORSE OF THE FLEET rules - the Arvis lighters deploy and operate independently of each other - they are bought as Squadrons for the perposes of Army selection only!

Re: The Badab War Part 1

No Fabius Bile in the Tyrant's Legion?

I was not aware that he was part of it?

Maybe he became involved later on after the Chapter became the Red Corsairs?

Re: The Badab War Part 1

It was always one of my beefs with 40k that you are either Imperial or Chaos, with no ground in between. Yes it does show that the change of the Astral Claws from Staunch Loyalist to Chaos Renegades was a road paved with 'mostly' good intent - and a lot of interference from the various Imperial org...

I feel that I need to add (lest people think I am misleading them) that the Baneblade is a plastic one and I don't do painting (aside from my rats) my Mate Paul painted all of mine - so to him go the plaudits. I do however love building and modifying the stuff - just never enjoyed painting - not whe...
