Re: 3D printing: Impact on the Hobby

Well not unless your very unlucky.. you have squads of students and peeps maintaing high end 3-d printers.. some tank patterns are out there and GW legal focuses massively on them when they pop up.. You can technically get 3d printers for under 2 grand nowadays.. but their quality is pretty crappy. ...

Re: 3D printing: Impact on the Hobby

Are you talking about GW IP, or about dissemination of low tech manufacturing to the consumer level.. which at some point is probably going to happen over the next 20 years... Tea earl grey Hot.. Book shops have declined massively (they briefly put up a fight with the nudge to the middle classes of ...

7th edition just around the corner.

*Please don't post if you haven't played 6th ed/just came here to talk smack.*..if you're a poor boy with too much time coming to rant about prices..I'll just replace all your words with something else. So several rumours are now floating about 7th ed being shoved way up the production line (and fan...

Re: Tyranid codex

We also have several missing in action entries: Ymgarl stealers, parasite of mortrex, doom of malantai and spore drop pods. Strangely enough, on warseer, the chapterhouse court case thread, a list of items that the law says chapterhouse can continue to produce has been posted. By sheer coincidence ...

Re: Grotesques need to test to do anything...

Remember though, that when the rule refers to a turn, it means a player turn. Yes but the killer important bit is the ownersihp word on disembarkation section.. cannot assault in **their** next assault phase. (Doesn't matter whose player turn it is, it matters whose models they are) RAW has been pr...

Re: "W40K is too expensive"...Really? Let's see

I think for your experiment to work you should not be brow beating people with the strength of your buying position.. I know many tradesmen, and push for lower value.. but thats artificially messing with the market.. other normal plebs don't get to do that- so neither should you :) Matts selling a p...

Re: Vehicles - hard to kill

I feel vehicles got quite a large boost in 6th. How so? Have you played 6th yet? firstly cover at 25% is massive boost, stack on nightfighting mods and its better than 5th ed cover at start of game. Ditched chances of *damaging* vehicles with a glance, whole list of weapons that just got useless at...
