I've just started using these (available from HobbyCraft / WHSmiths and presumably other good art shops)

Justicar w warding stave (great for potw) If I’m not mistaken the 2+ Inv only works against CC attacks. Troop - henchmen - 149 3 x MM, 3 x crusader, 1 x accolyte with carapace & boltgun Chimera – HKM You have two units of these but only the 1 =][= (Coteaz), The MM servitors will suffer ‘Mindloc...

Re: Grey Knight lists!

I like the monkey dude and his obliterator style. Anyone found cheap alternative models for them yet? I don't think this particular one is 'cheap' but it does seem to be an alternative model, anyone know who the manufacturer is? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Warhammer-40k-Grey-knights-Inquisitor-Jokaero-/3...

Just as others have said, FPS is what I use, good on plastics, metal and resin.

I've used Dettol and paint stripper products

Re: From the generals workshop

What are the Thunderhawk engines made from - looks like the back end of a Pritt Stick? I've been trying to get ahold of the Anakin Podracer on the cheap specifically for the engines (no luck as of yet) before I embark on the TH build of my own.

Painting Swords, any tutorials?

How do people paint there swords? My usual method is to paint them boltgun metal, black wash, edge hightlight with boltgun metal and then if I can be bothered further edge hight light with chainmail silver, job done. Lately, however I feel that the above method is a little too simplistic and the eff...

Re: conversion

All my scratchbuilds were built using 0.5mm plasticard, curved surfaces I used 0.25mm (more flexible) - I don't have any problems with ridgity / sturdynes - holds up very well - but then most of my scratchbuilds have multiple layers of 0.5mm.

Re: Characters and wounds

I agree. with your conclusion above - its also how we have been playing it. Re: Magic: Lore of Life: Throne of Vines (dispelled): Flesh to S

I see both sides aswell, we played it as scenario A at the time (as you described) but upon further reading I'm tending towards your scenario B description.
