The client I made them for plays WWII era games in 10mm. The thickness of the MDF walls makes the curtains look a lot better in person since they are recessed so much. I took these shots dead on so they can be seen. From the side, the curtains aren't so obvious. http://www.ageofstrife.co...

These are some 10MM buildings I did as a commission job for a client. They are 3/16" MDF and have card stock roofs. Went together very well and took paint nicely. I added curtains to the window openings and scratchbuilt some window boxes to give them a little more character. http://www....

A tube of red oil paint. You could darken it a bit, mix in some darker red, then just 'glob' it on where you want. The oil paint should still look a bit glossy after it dries. You could even stick some tiny bits of white chips into it to look like girstle and sinews.
