More Rule questions

More rule questions:

If I take an Apocalypse formation of say ‘Lost and the Dammed’. Do they count as ‘one’ unit in apocalypse terms. They must all come on together within 12” of the HQ, they get no option of coming on individually.

EG: say I had the formation ‘LATD’ with 10 units of 10 traitors and the HQ (over 100 figures!) and a unit of 8 Khorne Berserkers in reserve. Do both count as ‘one’ unit and could I choose to bring either one? Over 100 LATD or 8 Khorne Berserkers.... If the LATD don’t count as one unit how would the LATD ever come onto the table as I cant split the formation up (11 units vs 1)?

How would this work using ‘Flank March’ and ‘Ambush’ strategic assets? If I was to flank march the 100+ ‘LATD’ formation does the formation only take D6 hits from ambush?

I know I am not describing the situation very well, but hopefully you will understand what I am asking!

Another Question, suspect this will be a house rule issue. In an APOC game, does a player have the option to bring less points than allocated? EG, say I only wanted to bring 3750 points of Nid’s, That would mean I could choose a second strategic asset (having 250 points less than the opposition). Is that ok? It could get complex!

I dont agree, this will prevent large Apoc formations entering the table.

Please explain why you say apoc formations cant be brought on in reserve as 'single units'. Try and be subjective.

Formations have to enter together Si.

You need to read the rulebooks more instead of all that fluffy stuff ;)

They count as one strategic reserve, but in game they act as seperate units.
