GW only wants internet buying to be easy from the GW site, a useful thing to remember.

(Yes I know, they fail there as well!)

New site is substantially easier to buy from than the old site IMHO.

I've also found the search function more helpful than the old site.

if he likes tanks, why not try a baneblade?

if he is cerain it needs to be metal, then one of the best models in metal for me is a unit of Grey Knight Terminators.

if he likes monster/alien type models, then either a Tyranid Carnifex of Hive Tyrant would be right up his street.

someone with more time on their hands might be able to grab the links from the GF site for you on these three... I think images are up for those at least KMB :P lol

I'm too good to you you lazy git KIng, Links in the different colour text just click them.
Plastic tyranid monsters
Carnifex// Hive tyrant
Biggest non forgeworld plastic tank (maybe?) Baneblade
Metal terminators Greyknight terminators (you don't have pics for the non boxed set ones King :P )
Original poster may note that those 5 terminators cost nearly the same as the boxed set (Assualt on Black Reach) that also contains 5 terminators, this is because they have different rules (not particularly better, just different) and are metal. They also look different..but its up to your brother -in-law which look nicer :?

On a pure painting view, Typhus is a very nice model.
