welcome Jay... Eston eh :) That's my home town too.

As for painting tips you should call into the shop, speak to Gavin at the Normanby store, he's the guy who paints our models u can see for sale in the gallery. He's been painting for years now, and is very good at it.

Gaming - we are both in a club called the IronBeards in Redcar. They have a Monday night club between 7-10.30pm, where most of the players are W40K. If you would like to go I can offer you a lift there and back, I go most weeks. As for the rules, do u have a rulebook yet? Any questions just ask in the rules forum and we will try and get u an answer to it asap.

Pictures: What army are you collecting presently? - We're looking forward to seeing your models in the gallery. Now u've registered on the forum u can create a gallery for yourself.

enjoy your stay here at our humble home.

Ah balls I'd might be able to make it later on Mondays (i work to half seven) but yeah cool. Once I've got some decent pics I'll upload some! Thanks for the warm welcome :)

I've got the rulebook that came with the battle of maccarge. But I do have all the codex's / rule books as PDF's. A friend of mine from work used to play hardcore about 5 or so years ago from the Eston area, name is Kevin Smith - know him?

I don't think i do know him, sorry Jay. Does he still play too?

Well if you would like to go to the club just let us know and we will tell you where it is etc.

If you can't make it, there a small group of friends who play other nights at peoples homes, next time I've a game at my home I can let you know and you can come see a game.

right - best way to describe it is to click here i think:

http://www.multimap.com/maps/#t=l&map=54.61697,-1.06927|17|4

as u look at that map, Cotham Road Crosses Station Road. In the bottom left of that cross roads theres a hall, home of Redcar Boxing Club, next to the libriary. Well the doorway in is just off Coatham Road, it has a black hand rail up a ramp to two old full wooden doors, a small light above. thats the netrance.... real easy to find. Go in the door turn left and thru the next door, and we'll be i there.. :)

excellant, there's another two 'new guys' coming tmw, it's proving to be a popular club now for W40K.

You can't miss me and Gav - we are the two tall guys, I think Gav is 6ft 3" and me is a little taller again; Giants, and the rest are Dwarfs ;)

Cool cool if I can come it'd be to observe as I still don't have the slightest idea how to play (i've read the rule book its abit confusing - i learn best from watching!)

Unless someone could be so kind to describe a basic turn ...... :p
