Hi all

Welcome forum

Hi all

Postby BigBruv » Sat Aug 09, 2008 7:25 pm

Hello everyone,
New member here, been playing 40K since i was a kid,

Nowdays i do not have time with children, work and other hobbies.

but it still doesnt stop me from keeping up to date with my old
G/W era.

I have amassed a very large number of miniatures over the years of
gaming and painting.I also had a short stint of working for Games workshop in Torquay painting the shop display armies, and even had the privilege of painting the space wolf army for games day 96, and made the shops banner.

To be honest i was more of a converter and painter than a gamer.

If anyone is looking for any spares i will probably have them,
Marines,eldar,harliquins,chaos,stealers,orks.
Im not talking the new stuff but the really old leads.

I have posted on the trading forum asking for some help in identifying some of the older ones if anyone can help.

Thanks all and hello again.

BB.

Welcome to the site! You'll probably get more welcoming messages once a lot of folks get back from Warhammer World.
One quick rule, please don't feed KMG or ruffian4

Hey! Who put the 'G' where the 'B' is supposed to be on my keyboard! Talk about your basic Dvorak moment! Sorry KMB!

Not really sure  but I think you'll get a few ideas when the rest of the gang gets 'home' with their war storys and battle hymns!

Hi BigBruv and welcome to the site. A load of us are at Warhammer World this weekend, just by chance I've got open wifi access this eveing :)

I'll have a dig around your posts when during the week, I'm always looking for older figs to fill my need to relive my childhood - I started with 40k back in 1988 and while I have a few old figs I don't have as many as I'd like.

So far I'm at 5-0 in my gaming this weekend - that's 5 to my opponents, 0 to me

Hi Spack,

Thats good to know.
A lot of these figures were made around then.

Im trying to get them stripped and cleaned so i can get them photoed and logged.

Well, I can't vouch for the direction killmaimgimballs is going, but I am not dangerous, that has been established.
Written proof is available upon request.

I have magnolia and "morning haze."

Battle hymn of Paul Daniels (and the lovely Debbie Magee) Genestealer cult.

We went to war, armed with a book of raw.
We found some necrons, dead eye shots and no exceptions.

4+ cover save, with that we got quite brave.
With a 1000 or more hits, we became smoking pits.

(More rhyming couplets that spell out bitter defeat go here).

Welcome to the site, Big Bruv, hope you like it here.

Ps. Is it true that you are Davina McCall :?:
