New guy :)

Postby tundrik1982 » Fri Oct 18, 2013 8:32 pm

Hello,

Just a quick message to hello :)

I am new to the forum and just about to move house as well. From Ripon to Whitby for work commitments.

Games played atm is just WHFB but looking at games like Bolt Action and Dreadball.

Think thats the basics.

Welcome to the site the north eastern club lot here play a lot of bolt action.. and dreadball gets hyped alot..although I've still yet to see a batrep about either...

Bins are emptied tuesday.. no solid waste in public, but feel free to talk crazy jibber jabber in anything goes about pruning hedges or cooking etc (P+R etc can be stuck in members lounge but still obey forum rules). If you have great news please don't post directly in the news forums tell a mod type person and they'll move it into those as it affects the front page thingy.

The site currently has a painting competition (entry submission period is passed I'm afraid) going on at the moment
competitions/age-of-strife-ber-special-modeling-contest-t6965-p74298.html#p74298

A writing competition (no prizes but fairly relaxed feel free to join)
anything-goes/author-thread-comp-under-7-weeks-to-go-t7015.html

and a seasonal project support group
project-logs/2013-4th-quarter-project-log-for-everyone-t7042.html

Spack /\/\ is uber boss, and we all have varying levels of awesome under that.
My sig has my vague attempt at defining what this site comprises of (the what who is AOS bit).
Barely even lurking..

Welcome to the mad house. There is a large gaming club in Scarborough, 1 in Middlesbrough and 2 in Redcar. I run Redcar Ironbeards, the smaller of the 2 Redcar Clubs, where we play WH40K, Bolt Action and Rapid Fire WW2 using 15mm figs. Hope this info can help you find some gaming partners.

Welcome to the funhouse :) if you are interested in dreadball the redcar raiders have a keen interest in it so if you can ever make it down on a monday or thursday message myself or one of the others from there (they'll tell you who they are) and we can have a few games :)
