Returning from the Dead

Postby TheWraithlord » Sat Dec 01, 2007 9:21 pm

Hey guys. Some of you will know me and many of you will not. I was around for the start of the site here and sort of drifted off the main path for awhile. Back on the track again now so here I am :)

Wotcha
So what lured you back? Where were you the rest of the time?
Should we find a corner to natter about the changing of the ways, (beware:I play against a heck of a lot of massed fire mech eldar cover huggers which means I'm not really jumping for joy with the new tzeentch  ) But I know tim was starting to give more than a glance to the forces of chaotic hope etc. (3 of us thats almost a cabal  )
Welcome

It has always been the prerogative of half-wits and fools to point out the Emperor has no clothes, but the Emperor remains the Emperor, and the half-wit remains a half-wit.-The Sandman (The friendly ones)

way more than a glance: my MailOrder arrived this week with the last bits i need to build my 1KSons Combat Patrol. 8)

so far all ive done is sort the bits out into a box, but they are on my to-do list (after the Tau and AdMech SM Patrols, and some Terrain). i posted the list on Warseer, but il repost it here in a bit too. EDIT - here it is:

Spack lured me back actually hehe.

I have to say that despite its few shortcomings, the new Chaos codex is fantastic and the fact that I can once again field my Thousand Sons with a chance at winning makes my day. I happen to be one of the few who hated the Ancient Enemies restriction and the fact that I can build a force with all 4 cult troops, along with regular non cult troops, makes my day. The only real disappointment I have with it is the daemons being generic and having a lack of a decent save. Give them a 4+ inv like the GD and I would be happier.
