If you want to post a pic, there are 2 easy ways.

1) You can click the g2Img button (click the Post Reply button first below, rather than use the quick reply form, or click the Display BBCodes option at the right side of the quick reply form), then find the pics you want to include in the thread and choose the option you want to use to add it (the default of thumbnail linked to gallery is what most people use).

2) Go to the image in the gallery, and at the left hand side in the maroon menu area click on Get Items URLs. You'll then see a list of options - ignore the HTML ones as they're no use on the forum here (you can use them in web pages and on other forums that do allow HTML though), pick one of the BBCode formatted links. For thumbnails in the post that link to the larger version, pick either TMB (thumbnail links to gallery page, clicking takes viewer to the gallery page itself), or TMBL (thumbnail links direct to image, clicking it makes it open in the lightbox overlay).

You can do more than one at a time if you want. Personally I use the Get Item URLs option, I have 2 tabs open; one with the reply, one with the gallery. I then click the TMB or TMBL to copy the link to the clipboard, and paste into the reply tab. Repeat as many times as needed :)

The g2Img way also allows multiple images to be put in, but I rarely use because I'm the site admin - instead of seeing just my own album in the page to navigate I see all of them, and it normally causes the script in the selection process to hang due to having thousands of image links to deal with ...

If you click the X button you can delete those duplicate posts :P

Speaking as one who asks a lot of IT questions, yes it is ok and Spack has always gone out of his way to help, either through the forum pages or via PM.
