I'll accept web shooters , however (as you know)they are being brought back in the next film to show how the character is smart and can adapt-because they worried the lack of it broke his character.Somebody did care.(full points, with a side point for me)
I don't accept an actors height in greenscreening as breaking character- half the time he's hunched over and bestial in the comics meh..(LOTR scaling errors in bilbos house...
)
I'll accept X-first class on your word- (although after what they did to deadpool and phoenix most people I know refused to watch the film, even with the feel good publicity,based on their previous terrible character breaks which made audiences howl and nash their teeth.Almost killed the franchise and I'm not just saying that because my eldest is name after the Shi'ar Empress).
I don't accept LOTR- a (ext ver) 12 hour long films doesn't need a light hearted hippy guy chillout room chapter, or a baby horse sam can do some physical gags with ...yes missing the scourging/epilogue made the ending just a 45 minute goodbye, meh.Missing a chapter isn't meeting the criteria I asked, the closest LOTR gets is missing the character development that Gondors steward has a palantir(so when he goes whappy the audience just rolls its eyes and repeats the internet meme "he mad!!") saruman doesn't suddenly moonwalk because of the lack of bill the ponykicking his former owner for a heman end episode laugh.
Whilst The Shining is available for £4, I accept it wasn't always thus...
Spiderman/Marvel has the interesting parallel of Ang Lee's off universe being listed as an epic failure by its production company and quickly being scribbled over by marvel..Even though it was fairly deep and focused on the lead protagonist well (It just screwed up the rest of the universe by merging here there and everywhere to get more robot ninja zombie fathers).
gah children shouting 11"s behind me apologies for lacking coherence, basically.
I'd accept kubricks shining is a reimagined directorial beast (not just the beginning and end are chopped off..but the wasps the hedge lions and the gangsters suite)... but at least replacing the croquet mallets with his axe doesn't shoot lazor beams.
Will someone be fixing the walk for the next film? Are the rumours that people turned up at random points with rewrites and just expected them to all be done,friction, true?
