Hi,

My name is Arnar and I am a Warhammer Addict. I have been playing for about 15 years and have loved every minute of it.

My passion is the game it self, the strategy and tactics, although I do my best to field fully painted armies. I am very impatient when painting so I use all kinds of speed painting methods in order to fulfill that goal.

I have collected the following armies (in chronological order): Eldar, Dark Eldar, Space Marines, Orks... well pretty much everything but Daemon Hunters and Witch Hunters. Often, when I finish with an army, I try to find a potential new player and sell him said army for next to nothing, hoping that I will infect him with the 40k bug.

My current project is a 5000 pt Tyranid army. I might actually be selfish this time and hang on to it when I finish it. ;) If anybody needs tips on how to paint Tyranids very quickly (500-1000 pt a week) just PM me or something. Next on my list of things to do are my 2500 pt of Daemons that need painting and about 2000 pt of IG, but I think Ill wait for the new dex before I decide what to do about them.

What I have read here and the responses I got to my posts indicate a very easy-going and mature atmosphere, something I seek more then anything else.

Welcome the site. Hopefully you'll enjoy hanging around here :) I'm sure someone else will be along soon with quips about not feeding the regulars, so I'll leave it at that for now ;)

Welcome arnaroe!
You have come to the right place! You will have a good time here if you just remember two things,
1. Don't feed the members (especially KMB and Ruffian4)
2. Um, what were we talking about again? :?

Oh, just one other thing - go pick a race from the Usergroups link to join, that'll replace the Newbie tag with something more appropriate ;)

I'll point out this before TW or ruffian do....

What's that you said about mature arnaroe? ;)

I also try to field fully painted armies (all my lot do). It'll be good to see your work.

Welcome.

You know how it is, all men are also little boys. Its knowing when to be a man and when to be a boy that is the trick. From what I have read here it seems that people have at least some clue about where that line is... well most people at least... or some to be more accurate... come to think of it I guess it was just one. But, hey, that doesn't change anything. ;)
