Lord of skulls-- I don't get human attibutes on giant things, I imagine khorne to just be like all teeth all over (what does second ed say about blessings what his corporeal figure is).. I guess a skull throne is a carefully organised tessellated pile of skulls by a killmaimburning person who has got distracted by OCD..(I'm getting my khorne rage confused with orks aren't i?)

I like the idea of a caged god who has his chains cut only at the end of days.. very nordic. But the model is half drop pod half monolith strapped around a celestine.. I challenge herne to scratch build one.

A vindicator esque gun on a all ready existing wall mount with an eagle..

Nothing there screams more for all occasions than a WARHOUND.. though.. so I'm set and fluff wise the doomsday device I scratch built is pinnacle of chaos to me.. so no new purchases here.

I quite like the Necron thing except for the model in the middle. If that was different (or maybe painted differently) it could be a lot better.

They all look really nice to be honest.

I won't be buying any of it though.

Like the necron thing, kind of explody tardis + pandoricumish.
Khorne thing is wearing a skirt of skulls and makes me think on its days off, it dances around a handbag in less than sensible shoes.
Not for me thanks. I always though epic stuff looked so stupid due to the scale, but no, it seems.

Actually, I like the Khorne Lord of Battle - always been a fan of Epic style items. It's been reshaped but retains the intent.
It will nicely sit in my Khorne force alongside my Traitor Warhound.

As to the Necrons, agree it does look a bit Ben10 ish.
Nice idea just which it looked more in style with the existing C'tan models.
Kit being dual build so that you have a flyer is a good idea and my find itself in my Necron collection.

Can't wait to see the rewritten Apocalyse rules, always love playing it; my 40th birthday Apoc bash with 40,000pts per side is still talked about.

And I've just been payed my bonus - time for some new shiny models.

http://pinsofwar.com/rumoured-apocalypse-price-list/
oh bugger.-- (crosses fingers and somehow hopes that exchange rates are totally fobbar due to trade barriers etc.. but that looks like most of the stuff comes in at £80 and £12 ish respectively)

More pics of khorne thing with belly guns (looks a bit tastier here)

Yeah i saw a preview of prices and tbh the khorne thing looks like a scottish berzerker (i.e wearing a kilt) id have actually prefered seeing a proper walker instead of titans with extra spiky bits or even an avatar of a god daemon engine that would be cool

 I did - you are looking at it - sold it to em.... 8O

Agreed - I think it's the paint job - love the concept and the big electro squid holding it in place (cue Matrix) looks cool - but the paintjob makes it look likes someones little brother wondered in and dropped a GI Joe into the middle of the model!

TBH I just don't know - I have a fetish for daemon engines that started with the brass scorpion and now my collection contains all the saemon engines - but now they've released the LOB so I feel the need to get it for completionism sake but I don't really like the model that much...

Yeah it's a rip off. But it has all the options for both the Baneblade and Shadowsword kits. Instead of 2 separate kits. Good for spares or magnetising. Not so good otherwise.

Most of the stuff looks pretty good. Beyond my wallet or inclination though. The necron thingimebob looks a nightmare to store or transport. Fortunately my necron force is finished. I'm interested to see if any new tyranid stuff gets released for apoc though.
