Airbrush green

Postby estarriol » Sun Mar 25, 2012 1:25 pm

Ok folks I have an airbrush (and I am afraid to use it!), anyway I am currently doing lots of 1mm tanks, and I have a great grey for coverage for the Germans, but my Green for Russians is much too thin and covers badly.

Any advice on a good airbrushable green that covers well for that olive green armoured look?

i havent used it myself, so i cant comment to the tone of the green once its been sprayed

but Vallejo Model Air - Interior Green VAL010 looks to be a good one

i havent had any coverage issues with the VMA paints, and they dont need thinning down either :D

if it helps, i have a few ebay guys i could direct you to :)

The scale should be 15mm (1/100) D'oh.

Vallejo model air, ok, will hunt some down and see.

To be honest I like paints that need the least amount of thinning etc.

I'll second what Talus said.

I use the Vallejo Model Air paints in my airbrush as well, no coverage problems, no thinning necessary, they work very well.

Highly recommended.
