Hi All, Haven't been on for awhile, well signed up & then disappeared . A new baby, house & job had pushed the hobby to the side for awhile. Just been trying to download some pictures of a couple of commissions I have not long finished. For some reason I can't get them to load on here from photobucket. Any ideas what I might be wrong.

How are you trying to "load" them?

You should just need to use the Img tag to reference the image directly on Photobucket, assuming that your Photobucket album is marked for public viewing.

I'm using the . In the past I have just been able to highlight it & then drag it over, but this time it wont let me. I shall have a look at Photobucket when I get home tonight.

So long as the image is public, and you're referencing the image directly rather than the page on PB hosting the image, then it'll work. If you post a non-working img tag I can tell you why it won't work.

I couldn't load one because of the file size limit. I just couldn't create an image crappy enough to be accepted by the forums parameters.

How big an image were you trying to attach? If you use the Gallery you can upload larger images (it'll even resize on the fly to fit the restrictions) and then you can link to them in the forum - the forum post attachment feature is not intended to be used for attaching large photos.

Your issue is different to Blakwulf though - using the Img tag to pull an image from Photobucket is not restricted by file sizes because the file is never actually uploaded to this site, it's just an image reference pointing to Photobucket.

I had a similar issue woth photos for battle reports, the file size was way too large. Mattj gave me a link to this site;

It is freeware and it is an easy program to use.
With it you can easily adjust the size of the file, then save off the photo and upload with minimal problems.
