just thought id try to put up a few pics of my templars so far, please forgive the photography, im not too great with a camera!

I like the shileds! Very nice work there.
The urban bases are cool too. Are they the resin ones or are they scratch?
And it may not be the camera.
Try putting a sheet of paper or some kind of neutral background behind your models.
Right now, your camera is focusing on the background, that's why your keyboard is in focus but the minis are a little blurry.

One last tip, if your camera has a 'macro' setting, enabling it will give you clearer close up pics.
Though you may have to put the camera on a tripod or at least a stable mount (block of wood, stack of books, etc.) to keep it steady.
