You can leave any bone as white undercoat and nothing else. That's what I do. I don't highlight it at all after dipping. You need the matt varnish though

It is QS straight over white spray, by base I meant the model's literal base, not base coats

I thought about just leaving it after dipping, but I do prefer the light bleached bone/skull white highlight just to take the edge off the dip

Just done these little fellers, apologies for the photo quality but the light here isn't good and I can't get at my extra light sources right now






They do have red eyes, I know it doesn't show up that well.
