POWER SWORD PAINTIN CLAS 101

Ok people I have finaly put together a step by step on how to do BLUE power swords. Tho saying that you can add the way of painting in any coler going from dark to light.

So to start you need.

Small Dry Brush
Standard Brush

Mordian Blue Foundashion.
Enchanted Blue.
Ice Blue.
Asuramen Blue ink.
Skull White.

One Black Primed Power Sword.

So to start you add Mordian Blue Foundashion with Standard Brush. Covering the hole sword blade Like so.

then add Enchanted Blue. This is aplied to one side of the blade edge starting at the tip run it down to a fade out. Do the middle opisits side fethering it out bothe sides as it is midle. And then the botom, same side as the tip. do this on the right and left side of the blade matching its lenth. Like so.

Naw thats done and Dry Switch to your Small Dry Brush And your Ice Blue. Starting from the midle of the blade to the outer edge on the alredy ble sections lightly drybrus till you have desierd efect and then repeat from the edge to the center. Shood look like this.

Next get your Skull White and Dry Brush. (NOT DO NOT CLEEN THE DRY BRUSH FROM ICE BLU STAGE) This helps with the blending. Agen follow the center to outer rool and then outer to center. After dry add more white on Dirty Brush and repeat. Shood look like this.

Then add a 50/50 waterd down Asurmen Blue with Standard Brush. This will even out the shades nicely.

Finaly Highlight The center and edges with Skull White with Cleen Dry Brush. Add Purity Seal and

TaDarrrrrrrrrrr! You shood end up with something like this.

And Remember Practis makes perfect.

Nice tutorial Hunter!
Very well done. I'll have to give this a try.
So far my attempts at doing a power sword have been less than satisfying!

A note. This can be aplied to not just Power Swords. But Lightning claws, Power fists, Drednort Power wepons And plasma guns. Anuther trick is to show wepon shine on armor. But thats more advane to show.
