PSC Late War Brit Infantry Test Model

Postby markb » Fri Oct 31, 2014 12:53 pm

Just completed this today. I'm not overly happy with some of my work on it, the face is a bit of a mess. Also I'm not sure if the highlighting on the uniform is a bit extreme. I'm doing them as 11th Armoured so I tried to paint the regiment and divisional markings on his arm. Any comments, especially if you think the highlighting is too bright, would be appreciated.

Ok - if your not happy with those, then your standards are WAY higher than mine for 15mm figs! I'd be chuffed if my FoW troops looked that good.

Mark, they are fantastic mate.

However, I think you need to lower your standards for 15mm, otherwise it will take you too long to paint the army up.

Thanks, lads. I think the problem with the uniform highlighting is it was too heavy, I need to use a smaller brush to get a finer line.

Gav, I'm doing an armoured unit so I only have around 40 infantry to do so won't take that long. However I would agree with you if I was doing a Soviet Strelk army!
