Just for the record he bought that model last night and then painted it. He is a fast learner and a fast painter.

Not sure, that is an area that I haven't learned much in. My basing skills blow right now, all I do is get some Elmers and give is a gravel bath. I haven't really seen any books on basing. But when I get done with my Spawn I am going to re-base him on this kit my local GW store is selling. When I do my Dread I am going to do the same thing.

***Also I haven't painted his left shoulder pad yet or his arms, I had to hold this blame thing for 15 minutes with BOTH hands. I did pin him (pinned the lascannon arm) but after holding him together for so long I did not want to touch him and have him fall apart on me. So tonight I will finish his arm and retake pics.

Oh and any input on basing would be wonderful.

oooh i love the base with the pile of skulls (dont think i had seen that before - apologies if its not a new one). :)

and that whip is well cool! 8)
are you using it as a Daemon Weapon, Power Weapon, Lash of Submission or something else?

have you magnetised the whip arm? might make it easier to transport etc.

keep up the good work! :D

THANKS, that skull base is on my Havoc not real recent but it is OK.

The Whip is from the Greater Daemon of Khrone (bloodthirster) and I pinned it and it worked great. My magnets I think were too big to use in this case. As far as transport goes I think I am going to have to place him sideways.
