Will I be ready for the GT trip Friday?

I have a battle psyker squad to get ready along with a bombard.

But just to make life even more complicated I couldn't help get started on my GKs also.

I've redone the pink faces on the psykers. Dheneb Stone foundation, Leviathan Purple wash, so far. Then back on with the foundation and then white on the very raised edges next.

just airbrushed the vehicles with a Vallejio airbrush colour I forget the name of now.

Next I will wash with Cypia and then drybrush GW Kaki, like before, which spoils the desert colour I'm after. So then I correct with a drybrush of Vallejio Game Colour Plague Brown (eqivelant to GW Desert Yellow I think).

Next up was my new DreadKinght. Simply black undercoat and then Army Painter's new Metallic Silver spray. Instant results. Don't try to cover the whole model with the spray, let the black underneath help shade the model from the outselt. Next I plan to wash it with Asurmen Blue and then drybrush just the armour with Mitheril Silver, before starting on the details.

I'll keep you posted with progress.

since i cant use a knight in my guys, was going to gk it, but using a baal red wash down, but from other ones ive seen, the blue should work quite nicely for it

maybe a little hint of gold on the arms

one hell of a big compressor you got there o.O makes me glad i do everything by brush or can

im interested to see how those ig's come out, cant beat a bit of cannon fodder for my sons

lol cannon fodder eh

these guys throw out large pie plates in game that can kill a whole unit of 'sons'

they now have at least 3 colours on them, so topping the psykers for now and moving onto the bombard (colossus). Inbetween i'm gonna nip over there and spay the rest of the Dreadknight.

Looking great Nige! Have to ask - does it take a two man hose team to hold the spraybrush? Just worried you might blow off things from the model with thatcompressor. You know - like fingers, toes, noses, ears etc.... ;-)

@Ruffian - damn i had forgot about that. My guys never roll PotW so if they do now I'll have to redo them. Best i take a pot of flesh colour with me to the GT.

@Herne - no issues so far. It looks menacing but ain't really... I think

@Toby - and yes we WILL!!! lol

Or make sure you don't roll any of the same dice ruffian was rolling.

Or stand in the same area of the hall.

Or at the same table.

Or say things like "that coudn't possibly happen again".
