Maybe we should have a 3-monthly target topic so that we actually stand a chance of doing any of this :)

Do not be offended at me projecting my own failures on to you.....

For 2010:

Finish my IG army (1750 pts). This will be my last 40k army. DE, SM variants (including spiky ones), bugs, shiny skeleton zombies & tau don't appeal to me. I have a finished SM, eldar and Inquisition army. After it is done, I will be putting the 40k on the back burner to concentrate on other things. My gaming (club) time is limited - but my ability to lug stuff to and fro is more limited.
One of my clubs will be exclusively Infinity or RPG. The other will be 40k and Necromunda.

Get my Infinity PanO force up and competitive. I want to get back to skirmish level games, to this end, the Necromunda is coming back out of retirement as well.

Otherwise, the big one I'm trying for is the vacformed 'large sigma interface lander' model. A big, quad engined anime inspired alien race's landing craft. The hull (master) is done. I need to finish the masters for the engines.
That is not dead which can eternal lie

and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die

I'm happy so far - the marines are coming along (scouts done and out the way, sternguard on the way) and the daemons are all done bar the KoS which is still in the box (doesn't mean I'll not buy more though!).

More focus on the orcs and goblins over the next few months I think.

I also just ordered some of the new river sections from Gaming Figures so I'll assemble and paint my FW fantasy bridge and my Pegasus techno-bridge now they'll have something to er.... bridge.

Paul has said he wants to paint up the Empire but will wait to see what 8th Ed looks like first so those will drop from my list. I have been sneaking in some units for my WoC army but none of these are assembled yet and starting is still a way off.

OK - Encouraged by matts post to do an update:
1:) Continue (Complete? Ulp!) my Hordes army (Trollbloods) (Logged here)
2:) Continue (Complete? Double ulp!) my Warmachine force. (Khador) (Logged here)
3:) Continue (Complete? Ul....ah You get the idea...) my Warriors of chaos WHFB army Logged here
4:) Finish assembling my 2nd and 3rd Valkyrie. Paint 'em (Completed: Pics and post here: Valkyries )
5:) Finish assembling my Stormsword (Completed)
6:) Get at least 1 if not 2 or 3 'master' (hateful term,) models done in my 'Hall of Heroes' thread. (Logged here)
7:) Build / paint my DKOK diorama (Krieg defensive point overun by the special edition chaos ogryn)

Managed to complete two targets, but nearly lost all feeling in my thumb after damaging myself with a craft knife making it. (See thread here: Stitches!
That aside I've managed to add an item to the list:
8:) Complete a 'resin themed' Nurgle / Khorne 2500pt chaos army for 40K Logged here

This new project includes: Loadsa Forgeworld (All rhinos with appropriate doors) Blood slaughterers, Blight drones, Resin beserkers, demons, FW dread etc.) All models to be based on resin bases. Only non-resin inclusive will be the nurgle marines, as I already have loads of these, and the basic marines, who are being included to add to my abbadon black legion list. Even the lesser demons are going on resin bases. Second mortgage taken out, project started.... :D

1. Start, collect, paint and complete a fantasy army.

Have my lizards at a basic assembled + sprayed stage. Will respray and dip this army though, cause it'll look good.

2. Add the nessessary models to my ultramarines to take part in the next Tempus Fugatives weekend in May.

Very little to add in reality, I keep changing my lists to use what i've already got. 1 Thundefire cannon needs to be done but not much more.

3. Go to a GT event this year.

If I go i'll take my daemons, though money may get in the way. Need to wait until the new metagame stablises to make any decisions though.

4. Finish my 1500pts of Obliterator marines, then start a Tau army.

On hold but the oblits only need £25 spent then the painting finished. If I every get my student loan then this could be achived.

Overall being a student with no job and my loan becoming more and more wrapped in red tape all are at risk of failure.

Temptation has finally got me and five of the space hulk termies are in the process ready for the release of the blood angels. The angels are being started completly from scratch so things may take a little time to get going, especially as a couple of vindicators and possibly more terminators for my fists need to be done for the fugitives siege of terra campaign weekend

All that matters is that two stood against many, thats whats important.
Valor pleases you lord Crom so grant me one thing, grant me revenge.
And if you do not listen....then to hell with you!"
