For members to post long running threads about projects they are working on

My update: waiting for the weather to warm up a little so that I can take a test model outside to spray with army painter red.

And then apply to the same to lots more marines.

I'm hoping to start the SGs tonight. I've got an idea for one of them but I'm undecided on the other.

Mine mutated to this as a result of signing up for Wrath of Nagash, and hopefully the Warhammer Doubles.
I Bara, will attempt to complete the following challenge:
Paint a Traitor Chimera and use FW weathering powders on it
Paint 750pts of Warriors of Chaos
Paint 2250pts of Tomb Kings

Nice-to-have:
Paint my Doomblaster to WHW standard (ie allowed to use it)
Finish The Tainted on foot, Caradryan and 2 Vindicators

The first SG is done and just needs spraying up now. I'm hoping to start the second one tonight but still need to finally decide what I want to do with it. I might end up making it up as I go.

I now have 1500 points of very red marines and tanks.

Just red mind you, nothing else yet.

White scars are coming on really well. (Mr6s first comment,"they are not white!!")
A few models sprayed, alot of magnets (37 in 7 days)
And a very versatile army (in mobility and composition) is starting to form up.
Currently sat on one 1500 draw and a 2000 point win against guard.
Pics soon... but I want to make the command squad have the basics finished first.
Barely even lurking..

Not enuff piccies in this thread for me :) let's see these things ur all working on, plzzzz ;)

I'm not working on anything 40k, so do I post elsewhere?

EDIT: ah I see this forum sits in a general area, not 40k... ok then.

I'm working on my FoW US and German armys. I have both made and undercoated and all vehicles (of which 80% are) colour sprayed ready for camo and drybrushing in most cases.

Here's one piccie for now, more to follow:

You should start a project log or two Nige. All my stuff is in various ones and pics are there; no point repeating them in this thread. This is just to give progress reports rather than detail :)

Nice tanks. A bit out of scale with the models behind them though ;)

I thought the general idea was to post progress here and link to the actial project logs or one off threads elsewhere?

Well I finished the second wave of my Space Wolf Reinforcements last night and took them over to Pauls for painting (he is a very good freind of Matt G and I).

30 Grey Hunters and 21 Long Fangs as well as 4 Wolf Guard

Phase 3 will consist of 20 more Grey Hunters (nearly built) and 14 Wolf Scouts along with 2 Rhino/Razorbacks and 1 droppod - a second 'left too close to the fire' droppod  might be salvagable or at worse will create some interesting terrain!

(While over at Pauls had a 1000 point game of 'Trafalger' where my mostly Spanish Fleet bested his Royal Navy force quite convincingly - not a bad baptism for his newly painted Spanish ships. I overgunned a 1st rate giving it 8 Heavy shots  - and it pretty much single handedly crippled 3 of his 5 ships and left his flagship HMS Bellerophem on 2 boxs at the end of the game. His command checks stuffed him on several occasions allowing me to pick on single ships for most of the game. )
