Don't know for sure if it would work, but looking at the photo of your sex toy supply of tentacles, you could possibly try a coat of clear nail polish. Might just retain enough flexibility to avoid cracking.

Have set myself a speed painting competition to get the nurgle out the way (so I can focus on orks).. between now and friday morning I intend to

have
1 Epidemus- (custom thing with wolf head, weighing scales and babayaga palaquin- sat as WIP for year needs putting together and finishing an then painting over the gaps (yikes))
1 Great unclean one- Plague lord nurglitch on a wild boar (small amount of grey stuff req, mostly fire and forget actually)
2x4 nurgling bases (24 rats) (+2x1 spare swarmy things into the list for going on the table-- 2x4 are rats from plague monk skaven set- been doing them this morning some look awesome, some look like Sh1t).
3x7 PLague monks/plaguebearers (I've already done 10.. but completely ran out of energy to do the remainder..this is where the bulk of time and work is going to have to be...if I don't finish one area it will be here..which is a pain because I can't assemble them until done the way I'm painting them) each unit will have an instrument. I may go unfluffy and make 1 bigger and 2 smaller to protect epi.
They will join some generic ish already done DPs who will have
MON,Iron hide, Flight,breath (255 points each)
to make a pure nurgle 1500 (bang on)..hopefully to play against a friendly mech guard list on thursday. I figure its swings and round abouts I have 3 things that might hurt his tanks they are tough to kill.. he has lots of tanks.

If I have way too much enthusiasm and overshoot I've just been handed another 5 flamers of tzeentch to paint..dohh. (I can now field a fairly well contained force of each chaos.. apart for slannessh who I only have 3 demonettes and no noise marines meh) I can't paint ruffians nurgle, because I'm still waiting for the cthulu skull to come back from Mr6 to use for the champions head.
Barely even lurking..

At mo, having been on the go since 8am
GUO waiting for grey stuff to dry then will turn it into some sort of blanket/human pelt he's sat on.
Epi- glued together, has 3 tentacles that are just base coated brown.. probably could do with another tentacle.. then needs some more painting..
Nurgling bases...22 Rats done to a very basic standard and glued on 2 rats I decided that black with bad highlighting looked terrible on the cyber rats, so I'm just waiting for the do over snakeskin to dry before attaching them.

Plague monks... 10 done before today, 1 done today, 6 in process of basecoating (prior to today) 3 not started yet.

Well, I'm on schedule!!!

Will finish assembling 2 plague russes today, though the deathnaught started to look so funky, I have put that on hold (mould).

Now the lights good, will probably (finally) finish off the battle psycher squad, zombie sargeants and get the zombie command section on the go.
That's a point, I have the bits for a nurgley Creed, might get started on that too.

Hit a wall. 2 favourite brushes finally bit the dust..
leaving me with a tiny 5/0 a GW basecoat brush from the early 90s and a mid 00s tank brush...before I start raiding lilys paint brushes..hmmmm

Now using "Mr Stumpy" as found all other brushes worse.. I don't think it counts as a brush anymore.. light failed.. so now sat onchild chair in conservatory..
In the warrior's heart, theres no surrender, though RSI cries stop..his spirit cries...NEVAR!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QC23pTXP ... re=related

(found I was one arm short, well actually 3 arms over, but on the wrong side, so had to take a 20 min break to eat and prime, base and detail missing arm..)
Now assembled and needing some going over (bits where sloppy glue pulled off paint, bits where one wet coat over prime needs a touch up... mass smearing with thraka green etc)
Barely even lurking..
