A new year, a new quarter and a new wish-list of hobby objectives is upon us!

My Q1 objectives are:

1. Get most if not all my Orc and Goblin army assembled and painted
2. Paint some more marines
3. Decide what I'm going to take to WHW in March!

As usual, list your objectives and keep track of them as replies to the thread.

For me it's get stuff ready for March. I'll be tight on time over the next few months so I'll aim low:

1) Get my Hydras put together
2) Paint another 20 guardsmen

Likely to be a very disrupted quarter for me so..

1) assemble a box of Horrors for 40k
2) assemble the HE from IoB and give the Skaven to Phil

Finish the zombie horde.
finish the hierophant base.
crack on with the terrain repaint.

Bring those assualt marines (first mentioned q2 of 2010) up.
Do some orks.
Find a new game to play.

Something that doesn't have imperial guard in as soon as I put my case down.I've had enough of everyone and their goat playing the same blargle fargle ffffffffffffFFFFFF.

Pacman represents the number of games played against guard players, his mouth represents the amount of people who have played another games system.(ven diagram wise I appreciate they are totally separate but I haven't found a non guard player apart from who mostly plays other games systems )

Well, after the limitless funding of Stargod became available to chaos, the night lord expansion has begun ...

First up, 10 old style raptors cleaned, rebased and ready to go.
We have another 10 already painted, + 14 that I have no slotta bases for as yet.
There is a lord and a saucepot to jump pack up, too.



Some of the vehicles, 5 rhinos (+1 plague rhino, which will hopefully piggy back on these) a vindicator and 2 of the 3 defilers!!!

I need some bits for the defiler turrets, so they will have to wait.



Some of the rhinos were stuck together by a lunatic, loads of flash and tons of glue everywhere.

Quite a few breakages, but they are all cleaned up and ready to reassemble.

£16.50 worth of paint, from coat d'arms ordered, as gw don't do some of the stuff I used for the other night lords.
Brain of Britain here, decided to order, the day after the price hike (30p a pot).

I want to finish up my marine force.
Just have to paint up 1 drop pod, a land raider, 3 devastator missile marines, 2 lascannnon marines, a dev sergeant and the techmarine for the thunderfire cannon.
Have to build and paint 1 more drop pod. Want to pick up a chaplain in terminator armor (already have 1 in power armor) and that should pretty much take care of the army for now.
Have started a DE army and started building some models, but don't want to start in ainting them until I finish up the marines.
Want to try to stay conservative with painting goals this year so that I can get everything done.

I bought this kit ages ago. They sat in cellophane for a couple of years. I then had a big push on my VC stuff and got these assembled and undercoated for the new 7th ed VC book. I then didn't touch them until last october (so another how many years) I had a joint painting session and got them half done. Yesterday i got my act together and finished them off. My reluctance comes down to not really wanting to do another big warhammer regiment and the fact I practically never play fantasy, if I ever do again. Anyhow, I've finally got them finished. Next, Is the biotitan base and finishing my deathwatch killteam.

Well what you can't see in the pics is that I've been a bit slap dash with the paint. A wash and the fact they are zombies hides this. I was going to model earth around the 'rising' zombies too, but in the end, to be really honest i couldn't bothered. This unit has sat around for 5+ years doing nothing. I haven't even used it! Thus I really just wanted them finished and out of the way. Sadly, they will return to the case with the other VC stuff and go back into the loft. Maybe one day...
There is simply zero interest in fantasy around these parts so i don't see the situation changing soon.

#2 can be scratched off although I'll aim for a few more. Marine captain on bike done and a whole load of scouts.
Looks like marines (smurfs) for #3 but no lists worked out yet.
