Haha, thanks guys :)

That mega bolter pops out 15 S6 AP3 shots per turn 8O with a 60" range 8O 8O 8O

I messaged the guy I got the mod kit from if he had any rules for it. And he gave me 2 links. Sanctimonia Broadsword Fellblade and Standard Broadsword Fellblade.

I was wondering why one was 200 points more than the other, then saw the special rules and was like... "oh.." lol

But I have to ask, if you had to face it on the table, do you think the 550 and 750 and is fair? or underpriced? I am undecided. I mean I'd definatly field it at those costs. But I wouldn't want to be seen as cheese over powered to the point of spoiling the game for my oponant.

Grey knight special weapons and a zealot for my battle sisters. I've also finished re-basing all the battle sisters (6k+ pts!).
Currently adding the balcony to the terrain I finished earlier (the previous owner found it at the bottom of a box) and painting up some tyranid ebay rescues: 4th ed tyrant guard, 2nd ed metal fleshborer gaunt, 4 2nd ed spike rifle gaunts and a 2nd ed gargoyle.

Like them Angelwing. What did you use for the basing material?

@wizard. It's shadow grey paint, with a railway modelling flock, and then an artists black ink to stain patches into the flock.

Hi guys. Just wanting your opinion on a couple things.

You know I recently got some of my old stuff back. Well I am starting to incorperate it into my new army. But there is quite a notable colour difference between old and new. I have now got a test model modefied.

Image

Marine #1 is the old colour scheme.
Marine #2 is the modefied colour scheme.
Marine #3 is one in my new colour scheme.

Obviously I have repainted the base. But generally speaking, all I have done is given the model a decent coat of Delvin Mud Wash. Touched up a couple chips/mistakes here and there, but nothing serious. Do you think it looks close enough to my newer stuff?

Also, I experimented with a bit of sculpting. What do you think of my first attempt?

The modified blood angel looks just right. Keep it very simple (ie the wash) to make it easy to incorporate the models.

The washed angel does look close enough to your new scheme that the difference would likely go unnoticed on the tabletop during a game.

I've painted something!

Sorylian cruiser from Firestorm Armada. Test scheme, I'm rather happy with it.
