Finally finished the Skyray I got off ebay. I have also finished Shadow Sun that I stripped down a few weeks back.

Excellent work!
So how much did you save off MSRP by rescuing these guys off eBay?
And I agree with Herne, well done!

Thanks guys.

I think the sky ray was just under a tenner. Got it a few years ago now and despite giving it an initial strip at the time I wasnt pleased with the result until I got adobe from you guys a couple of weeks ago.

Shadow sun was something I purchased early on in my tau collection. I had originally painted her in the standard white but then decided I wanted her to match the rest if my army so stripped her at the same time I redid the skyray. :-)

I like them, very nice pictures!

There are times that B&W shots are much better than color shots. These are proof.

I like the one with the round tower in the background. Where were they taken?

I've had this done for a couple of weeks but had internet issues so not been able to upload:
The reclaimed Bjorn the Fell Handed. I'm awaiting the correct transfers which will help provide the 'pop' colour. As it is, he's a bit of a grey and silver blob. Nice and heavy though!
Ive provided a before and after picture.

Looking good!
Yet another nice rescue.
I like the way you did the base as well.

So I haven't really done much recently except the entry for the paining competition. But over the last two days I have built a box of Tau Pathfinders with 5 of the six available drones and a MK VII Colonial Viper that was a birthday gift. Both have been base coated and now ready for painting. :-)

You mean you didn't save the viper for the vehicle painting contest?

For shame! :eusa_naughty

So what have you got up your sleeve for next month? :eusa_think

Erm?...........

I still have a MK II Viper. Couple of 1/48 scale land rovers. Even a 1/35 king tiger sitting about.
