A Table for the Time Wizard

For members to post long running threads about projects they are working on

Well the Scriptorum is now 99% done. I still need to put a sign or poster or 2 on it, but for those who don't remember, it was a WIP here, and has now finished up as this;
Image
And the front from a slightly higher elevation;
Image
Here is the back of the ruin;
Image
And an overhead view of the rubble in the back of the ruin;
Image
The entire tile counts as a ruin and is area terrain as well.
The Scriptorum is an adjunct facility to the Sanctum Imperialis. Edicts from the Sanctum are published by the scribes in the Scriptorum. In games where both ruins are used, the would be placed close to or abutting each other.

Thanks all!
These are a couple of bunkers I made. I don't know if I'm all that crazy about the paint job, but I reckon they'll do for now;

EDIT: One more thing, I was thinking about getting one of these wargamer gaming mats for the table. Anyone have any experience with one of these (good or bad)? Thanks-TW

Neat bunkers TW. I've not seen those mats though I'm afraid.

Thanks for the replies Matt!

If you liked the ones in the front of the ruin, you should really like this!
This is the base for the first intact building, just primed so far.
Image
And here is what it looks like so far. Still a long way to go, have a bit of filling to do and decorative elements to add.
Image
Here's a closeup of the front of the building.
Image
And I'll be putting a couple of lightposts in front, something like this.

Thanks for looking!

Made a little more progress on the intact building. I got the top story painted.
Image
And here is a top down shot;
Image
It's done in Vallejo Hammered Copper, and the bats are GW Burnished Gold. The top parapet is a dark grey primer I mixed up. Now it needs a black wash and some highlights, then I can move on to the middle floor.

have you decided how you are going to use it ingame? (will you give it Access Points, Capacity, Fire Points and AV?)

My idea is for it to be an AV13 building, 2 access points (the main front door, and an emergency door in the back) no fire points but all roof areas accessible for firing from behind parapets. This would put it in the role of a central objective building, good for a destroy, take & hold, etc. type mission.
Second use would be same as above but with 1 fire point for each window bay (roughly 22, would have to re-count) and used as a "last outpost" type of building. Something on the order of the 'alamo', last ditch defensive position for a unit of soldiers.
Last would be to make it a reinforced bastion, AV14, no fire points, 1 access point, containing a lost artifact, important character, etc.
I want it to be a focal point in any game it is used, but have some versatility in the specific role it will play depending upon the game, mission or campaign. It's a fairly large building, on a 12" square tile and 3 storys tall, so it should pretty much dominate any battlefield.

How about av 12/12/10, armed with a bolt pistol and give it fire frenzy?

Only if it has a rotating part and house rule allowing it to be immobilised :)
