Conscripts IG/AdMech Army (*UPDATE 20/10*)

Postby conscriptboris » Sun Aug 17, 2008 6:49 pm

Hi all,

Having to turn up with my army incomplete this year I decided to get ahead on my new army, I am going to complete the BA one but with the amount of BA ive done recently im a bit sick of them ATM!

So I searched through my stuff and found my BB, 2xChimera, 4xBasilisk, 1xRuss, 1x Demolisher and some guys.

Ive ordered a bunch of steel legion blokes, the vehicles are going to be DKOK but the basic troops Steel Legion for cost effectiveness!

OK, so paint scheme, ive painted a cadian bloke and a bit of my BB for representation of the colour scheme intended:

Close up Side BB

BB & Guardsman front

BB top

So what you think?

the album link is here!

Looks good! I like the colors for a Mars regiment! The green camo pattern looks cool too. Are you going to do the entire BB in the same pattern?

@timewizard: Yep i will be doing the whole BB the same pattern, and the whole army :P

@AdrianG: This took a surprising amount of time, but once I make the mixes I need into empty pots I can churn my way through easy enough!

Thanks for the comment people, its always good tio hear appreciative remarks, makes you want to continue :P

Thats soooo Ljundhammer "yeah, I found this box under a car- turns out I bought 4000 points of armoured company a while back"
I think we should just have a thread on who doesn't have a bandblade- I'm getting a tad bit jealous- since they are bigger than landraiders- and landraiders are already up for a lot of conversion you should all stick remote control car bits in them- so you can all play dodgems with them next year (jk)
Nice paint scheme- carry on soldier :D
Barely even lurking..

After a thorough search, looked under the car, in the boot, under all the beds in the house, nope, no baneblades here either :(

9?? Jeez, I thought having 7 IG super heavies was overkill ... I've only got 4 Baneblades, a Shadowsword, a Stormblade, and a Macharius.

However, I think anyone would be hard pushed to beat this guy: http://z11.invisionfree.com/Work_In_Pro ... opic=10603

This chap must be bonkers. And have a trust fund/ lottery win. He has some amazing stuff. I really like the triple barrel basilisk conversion.
*salutes*

*edit. will he ever get round to painting them?

Let's see, 10 BB times $95 = $950.00 8O The conversions are very nice!
That would be some force to go against!
