Damn you! I'll be ordering a Macharius and some Death Riders too, as soon as they start taking orders over the phone. I've already seen the pics - top news item on the home page has links to the Warseer thread and a couple of albums of photos from some people who were there.

You'll be glad to know the quality of the Macharius is much higher than that of the baneblade. the tracks are much simpler in construction, but way more detailed.
all in all i can't fault it, and it's definately going to jump the construction queue. Poor baneblade will just have to wait!
The death riders are fab, but mine are missing shafts for the hunting lances! :(

Now Flakjacket. The BaneBlade can't be forgotten. I say just ship it over to me for assembly and use since you hav ethe new Tank. That way it wont be forgotten. 8)

At least i have now finished my first platoon of guard :) only another million to go ;)

My Macharius is nearly constructed :D :D :D
Unfortunately there are no rules yet so it will have to count as a Baneblade
if you fancy a gander check out my gallery
Now i have a baneblade to clean and stick together

It'll be worth the wait i assure you, mines just joined the painting queue, a few years and it may get there!
I'm just waiting for FW to send me a consignment of AI stuff. i picked up the rules on the open day and love the simplicity, oh and the models :)
i ordered enough imp and eldar aircraft to allow me to introduce friends to the game. :)

thats what I did with my AI stuff, although I went for orks and imp navy. of course, I was one of the first 500 to order the rules, and so have the signed book, as does Spack.

Just got back from Salute 07, where an entirely inefficient Forge World stand, sold out of most of its AI fighters and smaller 40k items in a matter of a few hours.
Managed to get hold of the Imperial Navy Thunderbolt Pilot and Ork Sqwadron Commander, and put in my pre-order for IA Vol5 (which should be a signed copy) :-D
Apparently its due for release around mid May.

IA5 has lots of background story to the war on vraks, very much like IA3 and IA4 did.

AI rulebook is similar in style to the IA books - there are only 18 pages of rules, the rest is taken up with colour pages about each aircraft.
