Right, got a bit of an update: An'ggarth.

I cheated though and got hunter101 to paint it. He's done a good job and in double quick time :) let's see what you think?

Coming along nicely KiNG! What's the building you attached the addition to? I would gather the mesh is for a stucco or concrete application? The framing looks great. Tile or slate roof going to go on?
Good luck with the projsect.

its only got a floor in the front part of the roof, and that's to be an en-suite to our room. The ground floor has a porch/hall for the 1st couple of metres, with a downstairs toilet in there. The rest of the extension is one big room, full height so tose roof lights at the back are seen from the ground floor, hence the steelwork.

The finish is to be rendered (as we call is here), over the mesh, which gives extra traction on the sandstone which the house is built from. Slate effect tiles, which the existing roof will also me done in eventually to match, so all looks the same and new. I do like original slate alot, but this was more cost effective, and is almost the same look in the end.

As soon as the waterproof membrane is on the roof, and the doors and windows in, Im having an Apoc game in there to christen it :D lol
