All (currently assembled) zombies ready for dipping:

I also put together a 2nd balefire catapult this afternoon and the set of metal hero figures. Not great quality but they'll do for the price they were :)

I'll have a major dipping session for the zombies at some point...maybe even this evening.

Do you need dogs to help with that? Sounds difficult to me.

Looks like you are making decent progress with those.

Glad to see that you have found a good use for the models. I hate to think of armies being sat on the shelf un-used!!

I've been assembling some of the Mantic stuff and spraying other units up. Here's the restic Revenant Cavalry:

And everything I've currently got out on the go:

I'm working on a skeleton regiment next:
Image

I did one complete model to show what it looks like before dipping. Since the picture I painted the shield rim silver but otherwise this should show how basic the paint job needs to be. I did do a little highlighting on the shield, just so see what it would turn out like:

The bone is left with the white undercoat. I'll see post-dipping if things like teeth need touching up with white.

Looks nice, the Mantic minis really have nice detail on them.
Should look great once the skeleton is dipped.

Holy speed army Mattman, good stuff :D

I quite like the King and the Standard, it's the Necromancers that are a bit on the dodgy side IMO (especially that flying one - how not to produce a convenient sculpt!)

Skeleton regiment ready for dipping

I also re-painted (base colours only) a necromancer model from the vampire counts army ready for dipping
Image

And some old models will also get dipped
Image

And some skeleton rats (dogs?)
Image

All dipped. Will base them and spray them up tomorrow evening.

Will probably do the Revenant regiment next (foot, not cavalry yet)
