MJG's blitz and WLH's occasional commando raid from the wise safety of our yellow island fastness painting log, easy- as sane euclidians.

MJG's B + WLH's OCR FTW!! SOO... YIF PLEASE?

Sounds a bit too much like your asking for furry porn. let us cleanse our pallettes with some cthulu humour.

I painted it out :) Extended the colour in the middle out to the edge

There were 3 arrows on the giant when I started. They are very weak and exposed though and 2 broke off while painting him. Just one left in the left shoulder now.

The skin is a great colour (tallarn flesh) which I'd actually not used on actual flesh before. Dipped in the strong tone (near black) it went a pinky grey so I repainted (not the deep areas/creases) it in a thinned tallarn flesh with a little black mixed in. Then straight tallarn flesh and then TF mixed with dheneb stone. The highlights are pretty blocky with no real effort to blend them together but the end effect is a leathery look which will do.

Yuk - the skin really does look patchy in those photos :( I might go back and fix that at some point.

I don't know how you get through this stuff so quickly and so well, Matt.
You annoy me to distraction.
Right, so now I have been distracted away from getting stuff done...

Fits and starts mate. Once I've got the bug I paint lots. If I lose momentum though it can derail the process for weeks!

Jon did the plague monks not me :)

Orc archers finished last night. Just need matt varnishing now. I think I varnish some of the other orc bits I have done at the same time (reversing a previous choice to leave the dip-shiney finish). Back to some Marines next before doing more orcs.

Paul's taken some greenskins to paint up to help me get through the masses. I'm supposed to be painting scout bikers (undercoated now) but have also started building more orcs that were lying around piling up.
