Painted figures, finished and where possible based.

Postby estarriol » Sat Jan 03, 2009 2:06 pm

Welcome to my painting log, I am notoriously bad at finishing figures so in December I cracked on with it, in between other things.

OK so 20 figures is not a lot, but for me in one month its a huge total.

Anyway they can be seen here.

Enjoy

Good work. 20 figures in a month would be a lot for me too :)

And now January's count, 22 figures this month in this album:

I might need a better picture of the Minotaur, this one doesn't do the Tartan Justice.

There are also 2 picks of the Skaven I have completed in the last 2 months, thats another 30 figures completed, but to be fair some were just needing basing and others painted from scratch so they were not counted in my monthly totals.

Matt, they are based on 25mm washers, that have only a small central hole. Bigger stuff is on 40mm washers. Nice as they are all holdable in storage by using magnetic sheet lining the boxes.

Me too LordMalek, I did the first Orc in a British soupbowl helmet as a joke and a reaction to the German style that was often used for them, and just decided they looked good. The bush hats followed, which I think suit them really well, although carving the khukri blades was a chore.

As the work progresses you will see Caps, berets and commando knitted hats as well.
