Ruin for Headhunter.

For members to post long running threads about projects they are working on

Inner walls half done.

Postby estarriol » Sat Mar 08, 2008 12:13 pm

Its getting there. 1/2 the inner walls are now done, the other half is waiting for glue to set (always a big factor in modelling like this).

The gaps between the walls will be filled with rubble and stuff to fill in the gaps.

Upper stairs in place, next Pic I'll have a Marine or something in to bring it all into focus.

That is looking really nice. Great work!!!

I'm a bit concerned though, the thread title is "ruin for headhunter", is he ok?
Has he gone bankrupt or something?

Tower complete

Postby estarriol » Sun Mar 09, 2008 1:02 pm

Well it needs holes filling and odd bits smoothing and rubble etc adding, but the actual construction is now complete.

Excellent work estarriol. You should ask spack to change "Newbie" into "Terrain Master"!

I might have to build me one of these *adds new project to list...*

If estarriol had read the Welcome post when registering, there'd be a better rank than "Newbie" anyway ;)

Ok for anyone interested the price of the ruin is £25 + s&h unpainted.

But I would charge £20 + s&h to anyone from here who orders one before 1st of May.

Right out on the edge, close to Uxbridge and the M40.

But Kensington High Street is reasonably easy on the tube for me so delivery could be arranged.

OK, I am very interested, but as I am in the US and shipping is going to suck huge amount of bad wind, can it be modeled to be reassembled modular like so packing would be as tight and small as possible. Also what would I be looking for shipping to Glendale AZ? Zip code is 85308. And finally, do you have Paypal? Depending on shipping and packing and Paypal and then 'my wife' I may put in an order. (It would also be cool to get some DA detailing(for the courtyard) at least for me. :)
The only "hobby" GW is interested in is lining their pockets with your money.

Modular isn't the problem as its a weight based service, will packege it up tonight and see what weight it comes in at and get the cost from the post office then.
