Ouch! glad to hear you made it out (relatively) OK. 8O

ive been in 2 car accidents (both in the same year), and they really shook me up. thankfully i only suffered whiplash in both of them (my shoulder still gives me occaisional problems though...).first time it was a hit and run (idiot went into the back of us when we stopped at lights and then sped off) and the second time it was a young girl on the school run (the sun was in her eyes as she left her road, so she decided to pull out anyway on the off chance that there wasnt anyone coming 8O , then failed to take evasive action when she did see us - he little brother and sister in the back hadnt even had a chance to put their seatbelts on!).

now, looking at this in a positive light, have you decided what you are going to do with all the compensation money? new army? something nice from FW? (i kinda flitted mine away on rubbish and living costs, and i wish i had bought something big to keep that i would have had to show for it :()

hope you get better soon! :)

As I was telling ljundhammer its best not to paint whilst on opiates and non steriodals... a few months later you look back and at best everything looks a bit rogue trader and multy coloured..at worst you painted your pillow to look like the emperor :)
Thats the Sh1tz man..I can only wish you a speedy recovery..
Damn I made a joke the last broken right arm here about how you all are soon going to be painting like me and my arm but really.... ouch. Stop it all of you.

Thanks KInG.

To keep from getting board I'm going through my DVD collection and watching some of my favs. So far I've watched the original Star Wars trilogy, all 9 hours of the extended LoTR trilogy, Serenity, the Thirteenth Warrior, the Sword and the Sorcerer, Big Trouble in Little China, They Live, and the Fifth Element.

Later today I'm gonna start the Resident Evil trilogy.

I'm taking this time to cleaning up my painting area, it's a huge mess.

I'm also reexamining my armies and painting projects. Projects I'll be resuming when I can paint are as follows Space Wolves, looking at my Chaos SM's makes me sad I didn't finish them so the Soul Reapers will be making a comeback, Chaos warriors for fantasy are a must, and my Heavy Gear stuff needs finishing.

The plan so far will be to focus on one project a week; paint a squad or a vehicle and then move on to the next project for a week. Hopefully this will quench my gamers ADD and allow me to get plenty of solid work completed.

Big Trouble in Little China was on the other night - almost stayed up to watch it (ive seen it sooo many times but i still love it), despite the fact that it was already well past my bedtime.

anyway, enjoy your R&R mate :)

Did you fall asleep while watching? The extended trilogy is over 11 hours :P

Great taste in movies there, I have most of them on DVD myself. Star Wars is a weakness - I have 4 different versions of each: Special Edition VHS boxed set, Special Edition DVD boxed set, Original Version Laserdisc Widescreen bootlegs, and the recent Special Edition + Original Version DVDs (although annoying the Original Version DVDs are non-anamorphic :()

Good luck on your recovery.

BTiLC is one of my favorite movies of all time. I watch it as often as seems necessary.

I have one of them fancy painting carousels, but it just kept getting blocked from spinning. I have got to break the habit of piling on my desk.

No I watched every minute.

Holly crap it didn't fell like 11 hours. 8O I thought they were 3 hrs each extended, in my defense I watched two on one day then the third the next.

Today I think Alien and Aliens is gonna be on the viewing schedule. Maybe I'll follow them up with John Carpenters The Thing.

Tomorrow I think I'll start going through my 80's comedy movie collection. All hail Weird Science!

Watch it wearing a bra on your head.. and cheer when the biker mutant asks you to keep it quiet in cse he loses his teaching job :)
If your trapped, me and the mrs have been watching vast vast chunks of ghost in the shell stand alone complex (only 5 episodes of series 2 left to go) Probably not worth watching the crow or blade film trilogies completely.. but I created a "make your mind go fuzzy" trilogy (I alluded to it earlier this year) I had a tape that spooled truman show, then straight into Dark city followed by the matrix..you go round feeling to make sure walls are solid for a good while after watching a day worth of that :)
Will the 80s comedy only be john huges (bender strikes again in breakfast club , but st elmos fire is fairly forggetable) or is everything fair game, dragnet caddyshack, will you stoop as low as police academy?
You've got to make a little space for Flash(..arrrrrrr.. he'll save everyone of us)

LOL, Flash is a sure thing! I love the campieness!

Off the top of my head the 80's comedy will include Goonies, Gremlins, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Caddy Shack and The breakfast club for sure. I'll really have to go through the collection to see what else I've got.
