Chaotic, i find scratch builds are better chaotic, easier to hide any difficult areas :P

Also what you using to build, card or plasticard?

Nice work so far. Are you using any of the web based templates for this?

the concepts i am trying to finalise are a lava over black with figures for the Imperial titan "warriors of legend" or a slannesh titan in blue and purple with tentacle hentai on panels.
It's .75 and .5 plasticard and I'm using templates i found at the bwc yahoo group/golden bolter society.

It's .75 and .5 plasticard

I used 0.5mm plasticard for most of my build, with 0.25mm for any curved sections (thinner and thus easier to curve)

and I'm using templates i found at the bwc yahoo group/golden bolter society.

Fantastic sites :D

I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll use/ how you make and join the ankle / knee / hip joints.

Whats the silvery / grey gaffer taped in the titans heel, what did you use - I presume this is for support / strength?

the gaffa tape is 8p in 2p's to add weight and aid stability to prevent toppling over. I'm experimenting with 22mm PVC waste pipe for joints. It doesn't seem to be responding very well to superglue yet.

Are you trying to glue "PVC to PVC" or "PVC to HIPs" ?

If its the later I can recommend Bostik Hard Plastic Glue

I'm trying to glue PVC to plasticard. i've managed to get lower and mid leg joined. I'll give the bostik a go, pretty certain my local hardware shop have it. thanks for the help.

I've been working on a titan myself, and found that Pritt Power Gel works really well.
Seems to join anything to anything, even Plastic waste pipe to end on Foam core or Rare earth magnets to plastic.

Unless it's a meteorite falling to Earth, which will destroy all life, then you're pretty much hosed no matter what you wish for.
