Cool. Working to a deadline is always a challenge! How much time is there left; is it next weekend? The reverse scheme worked out alright I think.

They look quite charming, and remind me I really need to finish off my 4 some time.(last thing I bought when led was still cheap)
Baragash wrote:Have played a few games. I'm happy I know how my list works, my issue will be not knowing other armies well enough I reckon.
Me and Ljundhammer have been "training" as in just silly proxying to see what stuff does, but Mr6 being absent from all of them means I have giant gap in anti space pansy tactics (both light and dark)..and We missed the whole space wolf thing..
I'm still hitting that "I can draw against a noob or a champion.. but can't get a win against either if web templatey" Thing.. but we'll see.
I reckon Mr6s big surprise unbeatable thing will be called by his first opponent as illegal, (maybe he's resurected his 5 invisible wraithlords that can't be hit in CC list)
My main thing will be trying to not get confused by really clever counts as armyes, like IJW's squats=Ork horde..I can barely keep track of orks as it is
Barely even lurking..

Fixed that for you ;) :P

Just cleaned up the bases, so all the non-vehicles now meet the minimum standard:

The Rhinos are nearly there, then I can go back and pick off bits and pieces that annoy me the most by not being done (Oblit flesh, DP horns, green on the PMs, bronze on the Vindi dozers being the main ones).

Baragash wrote:TBH, having thought about the Eldar and Lash armies that are likely to be rolling up, I'm tempted to switch armies to acquire some psychic defence. I didn't really encounter psionics in the heat due to being tanked in the first two games.

Should I be concerned?

Well SM or SW are potentially available, and I already have a painted Inquisitor if I wanted to bring in an unlimited hood from DH (and some mystics).

Whilst having Warptime nulled isn't that big a deal for how my list operates, it does mean potentially 60 points that I'm wasting.

If I stuck with CSM, I'd drop Possession from my Vindis, didn't use it once, and throw a PF AC into the PMs, and probably an Icon. Considering swapping one DP to Tzeentch and adding Bolt.

I don't really like SM, I just don't find Tactical Marines or Scouts cut the mustard at the moment, but a switch to SW would probably not be too hard as the core models play very similar to CSM.

I'd have to look at the BA Dex again, but model-wise I'd probably have to run dual-LR, with a Corbulo-led DC in one and a Librarian-led RAS in the other if I went down that route.

Demonhunter player game 2 managed to mungle 2 of my units with a mystic in a landraider :(
Don't drop possession from the vindies.. 8O You might not have faced enough shooty lists, but really al those weapons that glance waste their time (unless they carry on rolling super high) If you drop possession I'd be tempted to say drop the vindies.

An other alternative is you use a demon/witch codex base for troops and HQ and add smurfs into that (elites and FA anyway) gives you assasssins..which will need a lot of practice..gives you LRs.. Gives you more troops to choose. etc

I was thinking about Assassins, but the only one I like is the Callidus, and I don't see it being able to harm any of the things I'm worried about.
