WOW!

Thanks for all the replies!
I just got my coffee and sat down at the computer to check this. The 5 hour time difference really is noticable!

Of course not, I'm flattered!
Culven wrote: The only thing I don't like is the angular shape of the bases, though I can understant why you did it. It just gives the woods the feel of a manicured woodland. The only thing missing are topiaries.
I actually did them that way because it was easier to cut them all out at one time on the table saw. Hmmmmmm, topiary
mattjgilbert wrote:Cool idea. The added bonus of the magnets is that you can remove trees mid-game if required and know you are putting them back in the same place. Something I have to figure out how to accomplish with my existing wood solution.
That's the idea behind it. Plus the added benefit of easy storage!
LordMalekTheRedKnight wrote:they look great, although i worry that the trees are a little too spindly for 5th ed. could we get some model's eye view pics of some models trying to hide from view on the other side of the wood? ~ Tim
That I can do. As I said, I know I have to "beef" up the foliage a little because it doesn't block
TLOS. I got these trees at a hobby store a few years ago. They were in a special close out bin and were less than $10 for the trees and the foliage.

MC/Vehicle
to get a Cover Save, they needed to be 50% obscured (not just be within the boundary/fired at between the elements). isnt that right? ~ Tim
Yes. Page 51 for
MC page 62 for vehicles.
Thank you all again for the comments, I'll post up some model eye views asap and will of course post pics of the finished pieces when done!
