Postby da_grot » Wed Jan 19, 2011 8:17 pm

Evening Lads.

Does anyone fancy a large game on either the 30th or the 13th? As by the look of my work patterns these will be the last Sundays I'm likely to have off for a while

Not fussed if it's 40k or Fantasy Probably around 6000pts should be easily enough to fit in.

Any takers?

Up for that pal - 40k would poss be better for the 6000 pts though and do not think I have enough germans for flames of war YET!!!!!!! - either day good for me.

Any one else fancy a big game same day? Pete? Could do two separate games of 6000 and combine scores at the end for a final total?......

Wonder if we could rig up two boards on opposite sides of the room and Pete could use a smaller airborn force that could shuttle across from board to board. Perhaps he has to escape from one board, to only be shot down on another.... Just an idea....

im thinkin the main game could have an objective protected by a force field, and the side games could be based on a forrest moon where we have to destroy the force field generator. hows that for an original idea? now where did i put my laser sword?

Hi Russ. Key idea originally was Cobb and Dedboy were going to play a 6000 pt game. I've agreed to a 6000pt game with Jon-jo (Zhatan) and teh two ses of scores will be combined as of different battles being fought on different battlefield of the same world. There's no reason why smaller games can't be set up and points values recorded to add toward the score on the main board. Cobb? Dedboy? You ok with that?

Incidentally Zhatan - you haven't confirmed that you are definitely down for that 6000pt game. (Post above says you'd check.) IF you aren't available I'll set it up to play Pete. Assuming you can, perhaps Pete could play Russ. Pete?

Yea why not. Think what we should do is have something on all the boards that effects everyone else's games. Just to make it funny.

Nice one for joining up Russell, one more for the banter :P
