Nice nice lovely nice nice nice!

A while back, the rumour mill was grinding on, and there were rumblings of different scales so as to make them incompatible with standard 40k mini's.
Was there any truth to such things?

Also, will the new corridoors etc, look/be compatible with the old ones?

5 more minutes until Mail Order opens!!!

EDIT: one copy ordered!! (with free postage due to it being over £50)
They dont know whether the floor plans are compatible with the last ones, but they do reckon the minis are normal 40K scale (28mm). :D

My predicition: in 6 months time this will be sold out and going for over £100 on ebay. At which point I will kick myself repeatedly for not buying 5.

They can't have the floor plans the same and the models compatible (IMO not known)
They released a GW template so that people could still play space hulk on new termie bases....So if the bases are the same big size.. then the floor will be the post '01 era size pieces for them to fit together.

(I believe)
I'm interested in the rules.. not the minis.. I have 40-50 termies, and 100 or so genestealers(And about 70 doors from space crusade still) no need for more..

Will they do an AOBR and do multiple pressings of it though Tim? Cos this isn't THE box is it?

The bases arent the same: they arent round, for a start (they are sculpted around the Termies feet etc). ;)

The UK has 25,000 copies or something, apparantly, and its "while stocks last".

This rocks! I can't wait to get my hands on it! I've already ordered mine, & I'm considering getting another for more of those board sections! I'm just wondering if Gaming Figures can get it in? :D

Theres a librarian in there..oooh (ponders 2nd ed librarian ness)

(oh and yeah doh about the bases.. but that means they'd still need basing up for 40k.. so they either will fit one square (interchangable and based on new board) or they won't. I think in the logic gates my point is still valid..if just a bit squiffy)

If you look in the pics, the models are often turned so that their feet are in the corners of their squares (i.e. they barely fit).
(Anyone remember how the Orks in GorkaMorka had narrow bases so they could all fit in the Trukks?)

I reckon a few magets will do the trick and allow us to use these on 40mm round bases for 40K as well. :D
