so do you mean that it was listing logged-in users as guests? ('cos Guests shouldnt be able to do those things, right?)

No, I mean that it shows Guests as being in areas they're not allowed in, but they're actually not there. eg. Guest shows as looking at Members Lounge forum, what they're actually seeing is "This forum does not exist" on the page - but the forum id recorded is still the Members Lounge, which is technically correct. When it shows a Guest as Posting, it means they've gone to the New Topic link and then been shown a Login form, but as the login part is outside of the forum code the stats aren't updated to show that they've been redirected to the login.

I'd have to go through every page of code in the Forum system and add additional stats update calls wherever the user is shown something other than the requested information - it might take me a little while, but I'll see what I can do :P

I've tinkered a bit, and added some more stats update lines where auth fails or login redirects occur, so the stats should look a little different - for instance, Guest hits to Members Lounge will now show up as Logging On as they will have been shown the login page.
