Emoticons - categories

Postby Spack » Thu Mar 13, 2008 3:27 pm

I've added an emoticon category system to the site. So far there are only two categories, but I will start organising the hundreds (almost 700 at current count!) emoticons into groups. This mod also includes a pagination feature - no more clicking the More Smilies link and then waiting for ages while hundreds of little animated icons are downloaded :)

Re: Emoticons - categories

is it possible to add another category for "Favourites", and allow us to assign x number of emoticons (say, 5 or 10) we use regulary to this category, on an individual basis? (this could either be a category on the drop down, or they could be shown in a couple of extra lines in the standard Emoticons section, above the dropdown)

and would it be possible to show the text that makes the emoticon below each of them (on the selection screen), to make it easier to remember how to type them?

cheers

Good idea tim.
Is there a way to keep the window up front (always on top) so that when we type we don't have to go to win bar drag it back again and then continue typing?
Oh by the way jealousy wise, I love the new little 40k emoticons dakka has so that all the users can stick in their sig which armies they play really easily.

It has always been the prerogative of half-wits and fools to point out the Emperor has no clothes, but the Emperor remains the Emperor, and the half-wit remains a half-wit.-The Sandman (The friendly ones)
