As interesting as that might sound, there are 2 substantive disqualifiers that the committee have agreed upon:

1- The contest is almost anything goes, and I think painting yourself would have to drop outside the "anything", and

2-I doubt you are "NIB" and I think I can speak for the entire forum that we really have no desire to see a picture of you "unpainted". Raw plastic is hard enough on the eyes mate! Nothing personal!

So, while your interest is appreciated, your subject matter must be, unfortunately, disapproved.

Okay a bit of a change to my entry, which still beats the deadline for changes (as long as Talus approves it!)

Image

So I'll be doing:
3 Marauder medium dropships
2 Intruder Alpha
4 Intruder Beta
1 Harbinger assault gunship
2 Reaver heavy gunship
2 Corsair swarm
3 Invader APC
3 Hunter MGT
3 Reaper AAGT
2 Slayer HGT
3 Stalkers
8 Prowlers
8 Minders
6 Warrior bases
4 Destroyer bases
6 Razorworm bases

The Desolator that I had in my original entry I am holding off for the September HQ contest, if there's enough interest to run that competition that is.

All these are primed and some have been primed with a basecoat. Once I get further along, I'll post up some WIP shots.

Right you are Socaddict!
You made it with roughly 3 days to spare! Entry accepted.
Good luck.

TW/Talus. I'm afraid I'm going to have to amend my entry owing to a number of factors beyond my control. I'm going to have to drop it down to just a Hunter Squad and Marauder. I may get more done in the time but I can't risk it.

Yeah but the problem is twofold. Firstly I am still trying to source a desk so I can actually paint and secondly I am not getting a lot of free time, maybe 2 hours a day, and as a result I don't have a lot of time to paint, especially as there is 10 to 12 hours of work per Hunter.

Okay mate, not a problem. You know that according to the rules, if you listed your entry as 6 models, for example, and only got 3 done for whatever reason, you can still enter what you got finished.

Just food for thought. Let me know your decision and I'll edit your entry in the first post.

Sounds like a plan Mark. People will judge what you have finished, I doubt anyone is going to knock you for not finishing everything.

We all know that real life intrudes on our hobby from time to time!

When your finished entry goes in the gallery that's when you will list what it contains.

My Ferrus and Lorgar have arrived :) Depending on how much time I get over the next day or two, I might upgrade my entry to include Ferrus, and do both parts of the diorama. With little warnerling due at the start of September, I might be biting off more than I can chew (although everyone always says that the first baby is never early? :)
