im already putting it to good use as part of an Ogryn conversion (which im able to make thanks to the saw he already sent me for my birthday!), and i hope to post pics tonight/over the weekend.

You're welcome, and thank you for the kind words.

Now the rest of you, don't start expecting birthday gifts from me. :D

a little update: ive cut the arm off the Bone'ead so i can reposition it (that saw was invaluable, mate :D) and ive cleaned all the flash/mould lines off all the pieces. i still have to shape the new shoulder and decide on the exact final position of the arm, but apart from that hes ready to be glued together (i test fitted using blu-tac and he looked awesome). after that, its just a case of a tiny bit of greenstuff and then gluing sand to the base.

once hes done i will make the thread in the modelling and painting section, and post pics. :)

hehe. yeah, just to clarify: Culven got a little concerned when he heard i was going to remove the (thick metal) arm by "hacking at it". fearing i'd end up in hospital (and hey, what would you guys do without me, eh? ;) :P), he sent me a saw so i could do the job properly.

cheers!

I have to remove some flash on some figs.
I'm thinking about using an angle grinder and chainsaw.
It's my birthday soon.

I have flash on some of my figs too. I was going to use an earthmover, a sledgehammer, and maybe a turbine off a Boeing 747 engine just to polish the edges up. And it just happens to be my birthday today. I didn't get anything in the post though :crybaby2

I've been experimenting using this...if it works, I'll post it to you.
Happy birthday.

Well, fortunately, I've posted some adverts to you for use as drop cloths. They don't have my name as the sender, but trust me, I sent them with your safety in mind. :D

Spack, you didn't receive the gift I posted a month ago? Darned post system. I know you will like it, it is perfect, exactly what you've always wanted. I would tell you what it was, but I don't want to spoil the surprise when it finally arrives. If you still haven't received it in a year or so, try ringing the local post office and have them try to locate it for you. :D

Nice Female IG. If I played IG I might have thought about them myself, but alas, I do not.
