Well no players at all here, and Ic an't afford to continue this hobby at all given the costs involved, and I've come to think very little of the Dark Eldar. I don't really care for them at all. I'd rather get back as muchas I can.

If you want to be get stoked up on how good dark eldar are.. might I suggest the following
Toxic wisdom's DE helpdesk
http://warseer.com/forums/showthread.ph ... t=helpdesk
The warseer DE "tactica" (warseer tacticas aren't really tacticas so much as communities of folks who play mildly obscure armies sat around chatting pleasantly about them and occassionally brainstorming clever stuff..I'm an active participant in 4 "tacticas"\cliques)
http://warseer.com/forums/showthread.ph ... t=helpdesk
Then
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/fo ... E06F97ED38
For the optimal compositions of those components in a limited synergy (armylists).

You appear to have already spent the biggest amount on the intial outlay, your only really missing paints. :D

I can't help with living no where near others..as an amusing aside I think ljundhammer moved up to near me to be closer to the GW HQ :D (but as someone said in one of your threads, the bigger sites have whole forums given up to help find opponents.. they may be of help, unfortunately with only 500 users worldwide here you were lucky to find angelwing was as close as he was.)..
I hope something there helped...if not good luck with your sales :D

I didn't say the DE were a bad faction. I don't like them. They are not as itneresting to me as I thought. I just want to sell them.

Ah OK. Does that mean you have your eye on a faction you do like then?

yeah, if you are hoping to start a different army, then you might get more back in a trade than if you got cash and spent it again. :)

I would concur. Normally trade yields a retail to retail value. where a sell can be as low as 50% retail. I do a lot of trading on Bartertown and that has been my experience.

that probably depends on which army you want to collect next, and what you want to include in your force. :)

best thing to do IMO is go somewhere where people are playing, and watch their games and try to get a feel for the different armies, before you decide on your next one.

If going to a LGS isn't possible, then I would recommend reading general info on each race(maybe from the BGB). After you have evaluated each race more, then I think you would be in a better place to make a viable decision on trades.

if going to where games are played isnt possible before you get your new army, are you sure it will be possible afterwards? :?:

push comes to shove, invite someone to come to you who has a few different codex books so they can show them to you, and explain a bit about how they work (maybe they could even bring some models so you can try out a few things).

getting an army though is a big thing, so its worth the effort IMO to seek out a gaming group (or take a daytrip to your nearest store).
